Visitors to Leominster on Saturday 2nd December will find themselves part of a special day in the town. This date is Small Business Saturday (SBS), the red-letter day of a national network which supports, promotes and inspires small businesses. Leominster has an outstanding selection of independent retailers, attractions, home businesses, food & drink producers and service companies. On Small Business Saturday expect to find a host of stalls in Corn Square; a warming giveaway at The Grange and all the regular retailers ready to welcome shoppers.

Parking in the town centre car parks will be FREE on Saturday 2nd December, courtesy of the Leominster Business Group retailers, out of town businesses and other kind supporters. Stay all day; take your time; browse at leisure and don’t give a hoot about any parking meters!
In Corn Square market stalls will be set up for small businesses to take a pitch and showcase what they do. We haven’t space to mention all the businesses individually, so to give you a flavour of the stands, there will be cheese, chocolate brownies, children’s clothing, wooden crafts, lawyers, country and garden, crafts, cards, cakes and bakes, ice cream, tyres and auto supplies, dog walking, beer, cider, cooking items and patisserie. It’s a diverse set of stands with something for everyone.

Look out too for Leominster Gift Voucher, the Time Bank, a Santa’s Grotto – with a difference, Hereford Hour and a balloon competition!
We hope to be visited by Leominster Morris and the Salvation Army and a very special surprise guest – but you’ll have to come along to find out who that is.

Head over to Grange Court to enjoy the splendour of this John Abel masterpiece. On Small Business Saturday Twyford Cookers will be providing free soup for visitors with bread donated by Central Bakery – a great example of 2 small, local, independent businesses pairing up to make the day special. The tenant businesses at Grange Court will be promoting their products and services. It’s a perfect opportunity look at the rooms at Grange Court that are for hire – with special offers on SBS.
Leominster and its small businesses have so much to offer: make Small Business Saturday the day you see that first hand.
